Advent Carol Service Sunday 30th November 6.30pm

“From Darkness to Light”

On Sunday 30th November 2008 Cantamus choir Bournemouth and St Luke's Choir will join together to lead a Traditional Advent Carol Service in St Luke's church, Winton, Bournemouth.

All are welcome.

At the beginning of the service the church will be in subdued lighting. The choir will process to the West End of the nave. They will then sing the MATIN RESPONSORY to the setting by Palestrina, after which they process to the chancel singing “Creator of the stars of night” to plainsong. When they are in their places all lights in the church will be illuminated.

The service will be as follows:
