On Saturday 17th July Cantamus Choir Bournemouth joined together with the choir of St Katharine's Church Southbourne to present a varied programme of choral and instrumental music.
Both choirs performed pieces as separate choirs and also joined together.

Choral pieces included music by Christopher Tye, William Fox, Thomas Weelkes, Heinrich Schütz,Anton Bruckner, Fredrick Ouseley, Palestrina, C.V. Stanford, Thomas Tallis, Peter Hurford, Arthur Hutchings and Charles Wood.
Additionally a number of choir members played instrumental solos - on flute, trumpet, trombone and piano.
